About Elissa

From Breakdown to Breakthrough

Meet Elissa Rosenthal: Licensed Counselor and Certified Holistic Health Coach supporting healing and transformation through nervous system regulation, self-love, and laughter.

Why I Do This Work

I know the darkness and the light that follows it.

My own healing has taken me through addiction, depression, Lyme disease, and mold toxicity—every step has shaped the way I serve. Before I got sober, I spent years performing comedy with The Groundlings, Second City, and on stages across the country. That chapter gave me a deep gift: the ability to bring levity, disarm fear, and help people reconnect with their joy, even in the heaviest of moments.

After getting sober in 2013, I became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Holistic Health Coach. I trained at one of the top treatment centers in the world, helped run their family program, and began companioning and coaching in 2017. Since then, I have supported people through addiction, eating disorders, chronic illness, and the emotional imprints that keep them stuck.

My approach weaves clinical experience with neuroscience-based tools, nervous system stabilization, and the principles I’ve studied through the Hoffman Process, Tony Robbins training, and Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work. I believe deeply in the human capacity to rewire, rebuild, and rise.

Healing is both science and energy. Structure creates safety. Curiosity opens the door. Presence allows someone to finally reconnect with who they truly are. Humor, when used intentionally, becomes a bridge to that presence. It softens defenses, brings perspective, and reminds people that possibility still exists.

I am fully invested in the people I support. My intention is always to meet each person exactly where they are, without judgment, and walk with them toward the life they want to build.

Safety, clarity, self-trust, and compassion are at the center of everything I do. Whether someone is in crisis, rebuilding, or ready for their next level, I help them access the possibility they may have forgotten was theirs.

“Healing is not just about getting better. It’s about becoming who you were always meant to be.” —Elissa Rosenthal, CADC-II
